Creative Director
Mathias Woo (Co-Artistic Director & Executive Director of Zuni Icosahedron)
Mathias Woo, a Hong Kong-based interdisciplinary artist whose practice spans urban and architectural critique, art-tech installations, screenwriting and theatre directing, excels at observing Hong Kong through architectural, artistic and urban lenses. His acclaimed book series "Hong Kong Style" vividly documents the city's unique architectural landscape through images and texts. Since its initial publication in 2005, the series has become a publishing phenomenon in Hong Kong, selling nearly 10,000 copies largely through word-of-mouth recommendations. Woo has also created and directed many critically acclaimed theatre works, including "1587, A Year of No Significance" and "Eighteen Springs", skillfully blending literary classics, historical narratives and contemporary themes to offer audiences fresh insights into Hong Kong's cultural identity.

General

  • The ticket price covers specified experiences. Please check the package based on your ticket type:
  • $120 Ticket (Tram+Snack): Audio theatre+ One Hong Kong snack pack
  • $350 Ticket (Tram+Snack+Theatre): Audio theatre + One Hong Kong snack pack + One ticket to 13.67 2.0 Detective Theatre by Mathias Woo
  • All packages are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.
  • Participants must be aged 6 or above.
  • Limited spaces available per session (max. 40 pax)., Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

On the Day

  • Please arrive on time at your chosen meeting point:
    13:45 – Whitty Street Tram Depot (departs at 14:00)

    14:45 – Causeway Bay Hotel (departs at 15:00)
  • The tour will depart sharply on time. No refunds or make-up sessions will be given to late-comers.
  • Participants should bring:
  • A smartphone with mobile data (to scan QR codes)
  • Earphones (for multilingual audio guides: English / Cantonese/ Mandarin/ Japanese)
  • Please follow staff instructions during the experience.

  • Snack items are subject to change without prior notice. We regret that no substitutions or refunds will be made in the event of item changes.

 

Entry Ticket to Detective Theatre

  • Upgraded Package ($350) includes one ticket to 13.67  2.0. After registration, we will contact you to select a showtime.
  • No changes allowed once confirmed.
  • Tickets are valid only for the selected showtime.
  • The performance is in Cantonese with Chinese and English surtitles; no other language options are available.

 

Weather Policy

  • In case of Typhoon Signal No. 3+ or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning, the event may be postponed/canceled. Participants will be notified via email and social media by 10:00 AM on the event day.
  • If adverse weather occurs during the event, the Organiser will assess safety conditions to decide whether to continue. We regret that no refunds or reallocations can be made if the event is partially completed.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to modify programme details, itineraries, gifts, or other terms without prior notice.
  • Photos/videos may be taken for promotional purposes. Participation means implied consent.
